Orbx Lancair IV-P: Jaguar Edition Repaint
This is a Jaguar Edition green and gold repaint of the fabulous Orbx Lancair IV-P. It comes kitted out with a full Jag interior as well, including biscuit leather seats with embossed leaping cats on the headrests, and a burled walnut instrument panel with black leather accents. With a plane this sleek and fast, the paint seemed a natural fit!
There are two downloads — an HD version with large texture sheets that provided extremely crisp textures, and an SD version that’s downsized to work well with older video cards.

Tim “Piglet” Conrad’s PC-7 v.2: N4SZ “Checkerboard” Repaint
This is a repaint of Piglet’s fantastic PC-7 trainer which takes advantage of the larger 2048 texture sheets that he used in the upgraded version 2. It’s based on a paint I saw on airliners.net that feature a pearl-gray plane with a black fuselage stripe, a checkerboard tail, and what look to be invasion stripes on the wings. For a mostly monochrome scheme, I think it has a lot of zip.

Carenado Cessna 172N: High-Definition Black VC Panel
Carenado’s Cessna 172N is remarkably similar to the 172M that I did my primary training in. I was going through some of my old photos from several years back, and came across a set of cockpit pictures I’d taken in my trainer. They were good enough quality to use as a basis for a black panel to use in Carenado’s bird, so I cooked them up and merged them into the original texture sheets.
This panel is designed as a replacement for the default white panel in any C172N repaint you might have. They’re twice the resolution of the originals at 2048×2048 instead of 1024.

I know there are a lot of general aviation fans around, and despite of its slightly bigger size than just a light airplane, the C208B Grand Caravan EX is well appreciated.
And thanks to the version 2 of its FSX/P3D model in the HD Series, Carenado allows a simulation even closer to the real aircraft : they added the 3D knob technology to control the G1000 unit and the GMC 710 autopilot unit. The propeller effects (shine and volumetric from side view), the dark and cold start options have been also implemented among others.
